“Great content and at a good pace. Thoroughly enjoyed it.”

“Great passion from Steven! Self paced learning thanks to given Business Cases and background experiences from a great SCRUM Inspirator!”

“Very good experience Although it was an online course I enjoyed the interaction with Steven and fellow classmates. Theory was explained well and the examples and exercises were interesting and to the point. Would definitely recommend it !”

“Great class with great participants and a superb facilitator. A lot of learnings, a lot of fun, ... 2 fantastic days!”

“Inspiring Fascinating course with a plethora of inspiring approaches and insights into challenges you might be facing.”

“The training was an eye opener for me. Steven has a very gentle and effective way in bringing the message on to the participants. The course was highly interactive even though it was online. Nice job Steven!”

“Great course The remote classroom set-up was perfectly handled by Steven. Very good interactions, real live examples and in-depth knowledgde about all things concerning Agile, scrum, etc.”

“Personally, I prefer classes in this format. I studied the theory in advance (as requested) to allow myself to keep my "brainspace" to focus on the practical exercises. This way I was less bothered with absorbing concepts and definitions and I could focus on the things you cannot learn from a paper: doing.”

Before joining the class I thought scrum master was limited in facilitating and optimising the scrum events. But then I realized that it's way more than that. As a result now I understand that the main driver of the scrum master is to increase effectiveness where scrum provides some tools and events to reach this.

Before joining the class I thought it would be possible to immediately start implementing SCRUM as a complete framework in our organisation. But then I realized that to implement Scrum in a way that fully makes use of its value we will need to solve some fundamental approaches. As a result now I understand that Scrum will not be something that will be fully implemented by tomorrow, but it is important to start adopting the key values and mechanics, to assure we can move from mechanical Scrum to professional SCRUM in the future.

Before joining the class I thought scrum was a prescriptive framework. But then I realized that it is not prescriptive at all, but based on empiricism. As a result now I understand that it can be used in a lot of situations as long as the focus is on focused teams that are given the opportunity to self manage.

Before joining the class I thought project management was taking everything on my shoulders - and trying to do everything by myself. But then I realized that everyone has its responsibility and role to play. As a result now I understand that facilitating and coaching a team, without diving into the content, is even more valuable than doing the work myself.

Before joining the class I thought that many meetings were unnecessary time fillers. But then I realized that regular well defined meetings are very valuable tools in team management. As a result now I understand that we need better and not necessarily more or less meetings.

Before joining the class I thought our organizational structure and scrum implementation works fine. But then I realized that each event is necessary and feature teams are useful to enhance transparency. As a result now I understand that the implementation of Scrum in our organisation can be improved.

Before joining the class I thought that teaching and coaching Scrum during the Scrum events was an overhead or out of context. But then I realized how important it is to keep Scrum values and pillars present in the team and what "role" the Scrum Master plays in this. As a result now I understand that it is even one of the most important actions a Scrum Master should take besides the "simple" facilitation of the event and we can start using these events in a more effective way.
