What personal information do we collect from the people that visit our blog, website or app?

When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, VAT number or other details to help you with your experience, to send you your certificates and for invoicing purposes.

When do we collect information?

We collect information from you when you register on our site, place an order, subscribe to our newsletter, engage in a chat or enter any information on our site.

We may use the information we collect from you when you register, make a purchase, sign up for our newsletter, respond to a survey or marketing communication, surf the website, or use certain other site features in the following ways:

We only provide services (invoiced separately), articles and information. We never ask for credit card numbers directly and use Paypal or Stripe integrations for that purpose.

Third-party links

For certain specific Certification processes we send your data to Third Party providers such as Scrum.org, Less.works and Collaboration Superpowers. Each of these providers has confirmed their alignment with overall Privacy Law and more specifically GDPR.

Minors

We do not specifically market to children under the age of 16 years old. Therefor any data of minors is not treated by Boost Your Scrum / Lean Tech BVBA.

Data breaches

In order to be in line with GDPR we will take the following responsive action, should a data breach occur: We will notify the users and the local body for pricvacy law via in-site notification and through the official channels within 72hrs.

Rights of the data subject

Individuals have the right to receive their data within 30 days after the request was filed. Individuals have the right to be forgotten in the system. Individuals have the right to rectify their information. Any of these rights can be enforced by simple e-mail or through the contact forms on the website.

Individuals have the right to legally pursue enforceable rights against data collectors and processors who fail to adhere to the law. This principle requires not only that individuals have enforceable rights against data users, but also that individuals have recourse to courts or government agencies to investigate and/or prosecute non-compliance by data processors.
