Joffrey – Daily standup. What a shore.
Theon – Hasn’t it always been like that… We share what we did, what we’ll work on today, and if there is something blocking our progress.
Joffey – Hardly ever! So that after these long 25 minutes I can get back to my job. As I always did. And do my job. As I always did.

Some Wednesday... Sprint Demo & moaning sessions
Joffrey – Hey Theon, demo session today. Ready with the slide deck? Remember to have the activities of yesterday listed. And the approval we need on item X.
Theon – Sure! (thinking… we always ge approval… we always get approval. Even for these stupid change requests we’ll get approval…)
— Later that day…
Robin – Guys, we also have our moaning session this afternoon… Ready for it?
Theon – Complaints are standard. Have you seen any change?
Joffrey – I will not be able to attend. Now that you mention it, I see a very important meeting in parallel.
Next Thursday... Planning
Joffrey – So. Planning. I have prepared the list of tasks for the coming weeks. You know there is quite a lot coming from our previous Sprints. We’ll need to start catching up!
Theon & Robin (almost in sync) – Definitely. We’ll tak up the list. You can count on it.
Joffrey – Great! Back to work. You now your tasks. Now it’s just a matter of doing it.

Robin – Almost weekend! Looking so forward to it! Finally…
Tyrion – After so many months, no how do you feel about this Scrum thing?
Robin – Scrum? Between us… Nobody sees much value in it, except management I hope, as they are asking for it…

Some Monday morning... Daily Scrum
Jon – Daily Scrum guys. Remember our Sprint Goal. Last week together with Arya we finished the house Greyjoy.
Sansa – With the progress Bran and I made I suggest today we put our focus on Frey.
Bran – Agreed. I’ll take up the call with them and would like to have some assistance to be sure I capture all their expectations in this area.
Arya – I can surely jump in here.
Bran – It keeps amazing me how much progress we’re making.
Jon – Jep. As long as we keep collaborating so closely we can expect this. We’ve experienced it now for a few months and it sure feels great!
Some Wednesday... Sprint Review & Retrospective
Jon – Hey Eddard, who have you invited today for the Sprint Review?
Eddard – A number of key customers. I want to make sure the entire team can understand how they intend to use the newest additions to our product.
Robb – Great! We always receive valuable feedback from these sessions. Already looking forward to meet them and learn about their challenges.
— Later that day…
Bran – So we agree that as of tomorrow we’ll be performing this type of validations each and every time on our product?
Jon – Indeed. Let’s update our Definition of Done. Just to be sure we keep additional work in mind for the planning tomorrow.
Next Thursday... Sprint Planning
Eddard – I’ve been thinking about the feedback we received during the Sprint Review and I feel that getting 7% more visitors would be great to show as an outcome next Sprint Review.
Sansa – Makes sense. What about taking up items TLL and TRGRY.
Arya – Hmm, let’s first have a look what work this all involves.
Bran – Ok. Let’s list them all up and…
— After a few hours of sketching things on whiteboards and open conversations…
Jon – So. The goal is now “Raise visitors with 5%”. For which we will tackle item TLL and LNSTR.
Arya – Aligned. And we swarm onto LNSTR first as this is the biggest risk for now.
